Spend. We sign an experienced even old centre half £750,000. An experienced striker to replace Norwood for £1 mill. There's still money left for whatever... Plus Aiden Marsh needs to start next game with Cole upfront. It's a mess at the moment but it's easily fixed. The problem is KHALID COULD PEEL AN ORANGE IN HIS POCKET
wages for those players? I don’t disagree tbf. Flog whoever wants gone and reinvest. But the trouble is we won’t.
Journeymen aren't always bad if they fit well into the bigger picture, just like Norwood did. Obviously you don't need a team full of them, but a centre half in his early 30's who's been round the block really would make a world of difference right now.
They certainly aren't our best players...Kitching can't defend and styles is better as a wing back like under Ismael. We have wingbacks so he can go
Kitching will come good again if he stays(granted hes been poor so far)…as for Styles?….. reduce buy out clause to what ever it takes to get shut..he stinks place out and most overrated weve had for ages…..was meant to be the new Mowatt and me included thought that, yet he has never had a full game in midfield where he looked above the rest….ok he a Hungarian international but he cant even cut it as a top midfielder in league one……get rid amd move on
To be fair he almost got us the equaliser just Cole failed to slide in. Did more in his appearance than Dallas did all game.
Thinking about Kitching, he’s really exposed without support around him. We had two first class centre backs with him last year. I don’t think he’s a stopper, a bit like Stones. Put him in front of a proper defence and he would make a good midfielder. Leave him at the back and he will consistently make mistakes.
Not sure about midfield but our back 5 all over place at moment, hope Collins can sort it soon or else looks a long season
I agree it looks to me as though kitchings downed tools can,t be having that just flog him problem is a replacement.
Don't mind playing Marsh or jalo least they will put effort in rather see that than watters going through the motions half challenging for balls. But the squad has loads of experience.
