On Friday Nareev said something along the lines of none of our best players will be sold before the end of transfer window, Which got a round of applause from the crowd. Said we are not wanting to be a selling club, Which I guess is what we all want. Now look what's happening by doing that, some of our best performers from last season like kitching and Kane probably giving 50% effort because they want out. Kitching been told Coventry would 3/4 times his wage and Kane doesn't want to sign a new contract and wants to move back down South. If Collins was to drop these players especially Kitching what other options as he got? So what do we do?
We're not a selling club but we've just banked circa 4.5m from selling the central spine of the team and replaced them with crazy gambles. I'm not suggesting for a second we can ever replace like for like but by god, there were so many experienced CB's we could have brought in on a free.
Andersen was always going to go though, we were never going to stand in his way of playing in the premier league and TBF I don't think Lopata is a bad signing at all although I do agree another experienced defender could help massively, letting Norwood go though now that's a different story
I think kitching would be fine if they took the armband off him if you remember when he got it last season when mads was injured he had a bad spell and so did our results
