Would you have offered him/them any praise if we’d have won at Wembley?

We also have to hear in mind that the whole point we were in league 1 at all and at Wembley is because we made poor decisions the season before and Khaled was making 99.9% of the decisions then.

I remember Beth saying something along the lines of he made us sort out the clutter in the office when he first csme, so I thought he'd be an attention to detail type. Maybe not.

Not the other board members and the then owners who form a shortlist of names?

Well I'm just going by his answer that he was responsibie. Getting in the right coach who knew how to stay in the league was crucial and the wrong call was made.

They/he dropped 2 right bolloks with them 2 appointments, to go from a game away from the Premiership to league 1 was criminal and I’m just as pissed off as next person but our fans always need need a scapegoat on and off the pitch…….negativity breeds negativity hence why the current situation feels crap, we as fans ultimately love the highs but hate the lows, for a club like us it’s how we unfortunately roll, last year was close to being a big high but we dipped, this last few months have been low but folk need to chill the **** out a little and have more patience………a didn’t see this much outcry when PC had the club and we often flogged our best players and bought cheaper players…….did you?

I think it's more coupled with feeling the owners/CEO are further away from Barnsley fans Patrick did get stick for selling players. But I do see where you're coming from.

Plenty of folk on here have given you plenty of reasons why he's doing a poor job.

Could you give us some reasons why you think he's doing well? What has he implemented that has moved us forward as a club? What positives has he brought to BFC in your opinion?

He said in an interview that year that he was 99.9% in charge.

So he's either lying or incompetent.

Patrick bankrolled the place himself, we now have more on the board but seems less money invested on proven players

I've defended the board on here but I went on Friday and he didn't cover himself in glory. Walked in with a face like thunder, picked the mic up and said "let's get this party started" very sarcastically. Went on to give politicians answers to questions and at times seemed to be almost having a go at fans, his demeanour did not change all night. The less said about JAQ the better, she's enthusiastic but really hasn't got a clue.

JAQ comes across to me as though she's only really got any time for the things she's interested in. Shirt designs and women's football. Seems a really polite person who realised the awkwardness of talking about stretch in front of the new photographer which shows she cares about people which is a great quality but I get the feeling that her skills and focus should see her as a much less involved investor than one of the key voices at the club.

A lot of the issues over the summer could have been dealt with in a single statement (or even some basic help and advice in some cases), but there seemed to be a reluctance to offer anything. The photographer situation was ridiculous in light of what came out on Friday evening - 2 lines from Dreambob summed it up perfectly based on what Whitey said: the club wanted someone full time. Why basic statements can't be put out at the time, I'll never know.

I understand some things can't be communicated and shouldn't be, but many things can be and the club chooses not to.

Have to say I was surprised as towards the back end of it I thought he was losing it and was expecting Nareen to step in.
