Good on the pathetic old guy threatening to break a young lasses nose?

Aye ok then. You’re just as bad as he is.

Don’t give a flying frig what his career history is.

Being a veteran in itself is laudable of course but I’d hope it would have taught better discipline than he has displayed here.

If anything the fact he is a trained forces veteran and still saw fit to threaten violence to young kids working in a car park makes it worse.

Sorry mate, I value your opinion on most stuff. But I don’t think you know these people in real life? I do.
Kevin Herring is one of the most wonderful humans, you will ever meet in your life. I know he’s a meat eater, but I can let that go.
Kev & Trev are fellow Dodworthers & sit close at football. They’re good pals. & there’s nobody better to talk to Trevor, than Kev. There you are, my tuppence worth.
Trev’s a war hero, if you consider the Falklands a justified, fair fight. He had friends die.
He was out of order, of course. A very weird admission post. He needs to simply put his hands up & call himself a lovely person. & apologise the the people involved, the club & the rest of the fan base.:)
He’s not a bad person, trust me.
Anyway, I’m off for a little cry. England lost. :(

I just replied to Supertyke. Have a look at that. Don’t be quick to judge people, who you don’t know.
& I ain’t defending that behaviour. In fact, I would bollack the fck out of him, given the chance.

That’s not far from you. & a necessary visit. Give him a kick up the arse from me.. Your know him better than me. We have to look after each other, especially when we have arsehole moments.. x
I don’t want to see a good Barnsley fan getting banned. For being an occasional lovely person. :)

I'm still waiting for the minutes from the last five years of the SAG meetings.

BMBC are being very invasive, despite me submitting a FOI request.

Latest excuse is someone is off work, seems the job stops!

    I've been waiting months now.

I’m judging his acts. In this incident only.

His forces career, frustration at the car parking situation and otherwise previous good character which I’m sure you’re probably right about are not mitigation.

My ID is obvious. But I don’t who you, Supertyke, Dreamboy etc. Are in real life.? So your opinions have less validity, on here. That’s why we take the pee out of them..
Anonymous keyboard warriors, with an view in everything. Without ever identifying themselves.
So basically, your opinion doesn’t matter, it has no credibility. What I’m saying is- expose yourself, or shut your face.
I don’t know Trevor very well, only through biglil. But just messaged him & told him to put his hands up & make a graceful apology. I don’t want to see anyone banned for being an occasional TW4T. We can all be that .
    & that’s my lot..:)

Who the **** are you to call me a keyboard warrior?

Shut my face? Why? Because I’m calling out someone who you happen to sort of know and like for behaving like an absolute lovely person? I’m not backing out of that. He did act like an absolute lovely person.

How is your ID obvious by the way? You call yourself Mr C. Could be absolutely anyone. I don’t know you. How many people have a surname starting with C in the Barnsley borough?

I’ve spoken plenty about who I am in the past on this very forum. Troff is a name I’ve been called since childhood, not a random moniker. I’ve been known as Troff or Troffer for 30 years. The profile picture is me and my lad. I’m not anonymous. No more than you. I’m not hiding behind a fake profile. There are people on here who know exactly who I am. If you are so interested, my name is Chris, I live, as I have for most of my life, in Doncaster. Incidentally very near to Alex Mowatt’s parents. I’m not the only ex Don Valley High School pupil to post on here. Again, nothing new being said here.

You seem desperate to die on this hill defending this fella who I now know is called Trevor. Why? You’ve said yourself you don’t condone his actions. And because we aren’t all backing down and saying ‘oh ok, he’s a falklands veteran and normally ok so yeah that’s fine’, you’ve now resorted to posting a very aggressive and provocative riposte suggesting my opinion doesn’t matter.

It probably doesn’t matter. No more than anyone else’s. But it also doesn’t make me wrong.

If you threaten violence to a member of club staff, then I’m of the view that you ought to be banned from attending. Whether that is permanently or for a fixed period of time is up to the club.

The fact the staff members are so young, the fact one of them female, does not help him in the argument either. As an employer do you think Barnsley Football Club have a duty of care towards its employees? The one and only bit of mitigation I’ve seen is that Trevor appears to have gone into the club on Thursday and apologised for his actions. If he adds a personal apology to the two car park attendants he’d go some way to restoring some goodwill.

I still think he was bang out of order, sufficiently so to warrant him not being welcome at the club for a while. If someone is a really good person and has a spotless past, but drives whilst pissed and kills someone, or lashes out in a moment of madness and causes serious injury or worse to someone, are their actions excused anymore by their previous character?

    Fine.
So why aim it (your anger) at the Football club. ?
I gave you a simple reason for why they (the club) may act in the manner they did. It's sadly a blame culture society we live in. if owt goes wrong.

Only in as much as it would help to hide someone's disgraceful behaviour. **** him, let it stay on record that he threatens women and is proud to boast about it.

That’s the thing I can’t understand, did he think by posting that he would have people backing him up? Apart from his mates obviously.

Yes, I think he thinks any of us would have said the same thing. By now he must realise that we wouldn’t and will hopefully think twice about doing so himself in future.

I'm not wanting to protect the OP, although I don't think anything is to be gained from reading something so unsavoury.

I'm more concerned about posters such as yourself who are getting caught up in it all.

    How am I angry?

These documents should be in the public domain.

I have asked BFC and they have said all these changes are down to BMBC.

BMBC refused to confirm nor deny this, so I had no option but to submit an FOI for the minutes.

The minutes from the SAG meeting should clarify this once and for all.

The closure of Beevor Court has impacted me (and others) and I feel justified in wanting all of the information related to this.

I get that bud, but I’m quite happy to continue to defend my view on it.
