Whatever you think of Tedic & Norwood They haven't been replaced at all All strengh & aggression has been stripped from the forward line It's just negligent from the club- there is no excuse for it Khaled & co have seen enough EFL games to know how physical it is Tighter finances doesnt stop you starting the season with a big lad up top I just wish BFC had prepared for the campaign with a bit of common sense!
I agree….don’t want Tedic back though if I’m honest. Think we could do better. Biggest worry right now though is the back line. Another week gone by and we’ve brought no one in.
Crazy thing is we're now paying 4 wages Watters, Shaw, Dallas and Mcatee who've got 13 goals between them at this level or above plus a reported 300k fee for Watters. Would it have cost that much to extend Norwood's deal.
Recruitment this summer has been absolutely bizarre mate. I haven’t seen owt like it in the 27 years I’ve watched them in terms of players we’ve brought in.
Just because watters couldn't score in a brothel with a pocket full of 50s doesn't make Norwood any better.
If we prepared better this summer we could have more points on the board now, even if we turn it around it could cost us come the final promotion race
If we don't bring in the players we desperately need by the close of the window I very much doubt we'll be worried about keeping in the promotion race.
I agree. But say we get another ismael in, get a few special players and win 9 in a row. We could be kicking ourselves about this summer
I agree. If the aims promotion the club has to hope results pick up quickly. (What's Peni short for btw?)
Buying policy has nowt to do with our ambitions as fans, it's all about one of Watters, Dallas, Shaw or any of the other bargain basement buys coming good and being sold on for X million ( In the case of Mads) and rinse and repeat with the next batch after the end of this season.....Happy to be told am wrong
I liked Tedic but his numbers weren’t good enough for a striker. Obviously more to a striker game than numbers but good strikers don’t score 4 goals all season.
Agree, but I think he could be an answer if not mega expensive on loan. But he’d need assurances of game time - that’s what City want for their loanees. Not contractually, but they need to play to develop. Look at what Ivan Toney eventually did
