What we thinking? Good to see an early fight time for once. Can’t imagine Dub has anything other than a punchers chance, but I don’t think Usyk has KO power at this weight. I’m going Usyk unanimous points or late TKO…
Usyk should win, but if there is a division where you only need one punch, it's this one. Would love to see a shock result and you can bet Fury would be begging to face Dubois, as it would see it as an easier route to undisputed.
Dubois has not exactly shown himself to have a rock jaw or a warrior spirit so far has he? I was hoping he'd be "The One"
Can’t see Dubois getting near him, but if he comes out and smothers him from the get go and has the stamina to unload once a round he’s got a punchers chance.
I think it’ll be similar to Usyk - Joshua 1 but this time I think he will get the stoppage late on. I don’t think he’ll box & move I think he’ll sit in the pocket & out jab him & bust him up.
Gonna be a late one. Laura Woods is having to kill time before the son of Naseem Hamed makes his debut.
Still, if either of the next two fights are a patch on the Berinchyk Vs Yigit fight we've just seen, it'll be a cracking late night
Well that didn't teach us much about Aadam Hamed....Has the manerisms of his dad and I hope he is a huge success because Boxing needs characters. The pressure on him will be worse than other next generation boxers have it, and he had the pressure of being the warm up for the main event thanks to his Saudi backers. People usual debut off camera or in small venues like halls.
It’s all about viewing numbers so anyone with a famous dad or relative like Campbell Hatton, Conor Benn or any of the other Fury’s get pushed up cards & if they’re no good just pump them up with steroids like they did with Benn.
Makes EFL refs look competent does this guy. Dubois would have been champion if not for a shocking decision. Gave Usyk more time than he wanted to recover from it and let him off with a cheap shot after the bell had gone for the end of the 5th.
How poor was Dubuois. 2-3 times had the opportunity to take control, identified Usyks weakness but still remained static throughout. No hunger to beat his opponent, happy to get out of there finishing 2nd.
Ref’s had a shocker there IMO. Got swept up by the whole Ukraine thing for me. Don’t get me wrong Usyk was easily the better boxer, but when all you have is a puncher’s chance and fair punches are ruled out, you’ve no chance.
