Some went in our favour, some didn’t this was the best. https://x.com/the_mannster/status/1695441007163351343?s=46 Wigan player stops Barnsley player from advancing down the wing…decision - Wigan free kick of course crazy.
They described one shortly after this on the commentary, where Kane was dragged back 3 times, before a free kick was awarded to Wigan.
Just seen the highlights and the red card looked a bit harsh to me. Cole hadn't got the ball under control and both players were going for it If it'd been against us, I wouldn't be very happy. But since it's against Wigan, I couldn't give a stuff
Even the Wigan commentators were pretty confused by those two free kicks they got. I must admit that Kane could have had few complaints if he'd been shown a red for that challenge he got booked for.
There were at least 4 players & the keeper between him & the ball. It wasn't a leg breaking challenge. Yellow, yes.
Absolutely no attempt to play the ball. On balance more a yellow for the reasons you mention, but it was an absolutely horrible challenge.
I thought it was high and dangerous- I hate those cynical types of fouls too. Made zero attempt to play the ball.
How many times have you seen these go against us? I disagree with you BTW. Do you just have a Barnsley death wish? Or are you impartial, in case what about the 50 others we didn't get? Really don't get your angle on this. Please explain?
loads mate! I thought it was an awful tackle, mega dangerous and should have been sent off. Just trying to give a balanced view
easy to think that , especially given what happened at Wembley but in the cold light of day, I don’t think there’s an agenda against Barnsley, that wouldn’t make sense. There are numerous times it has felt like that mind you..
