Just my gut feeling but I would say that I can only see Bolton finishing in the top 6. There’s a lot of settling down to happen yet and I think a number of teams will start to show some consistency particularly after the window shuts. Just hoping one of them is us. There’s a lot of poor and inconsistent teams in league 1.
Would say that Oxford will still be around the top 6. Most important thing is us being in there though.
Loved today. Cracking result and a great performance. Would say it was better than Port Vale. In my opinion, we won’t be anywhere near top six unless we save it with some outstanding recruitment. Think you’re right about Bolton though, they’ll be up there.
There's been some topsy turvy results. Not going to quote over teams results because I don't care about them. I care about us. That said, those two defeats at home don't look as bad when we have an away win like we did yesterday. Might be a bit early to call but everyone's beating everyone and the first team to show a bit of consistency might prevail.
Big week ahead for the club. At the moment we are boom or bust. 2 excellent wins 2 shocking defeats And a draw We could easily teeter towards promotion with a few smart signings But then sell key players, don't replace properly we could easily hurtle towards the drop
Only Pompey unbeaten after 5 games. A much more open league this season, but I see them, Derby, Bolton, Peterborough & us fighting it out with a few others, like Oxford, Port Vale & maybe Stevenage...
Pompey always start strong and look likely for promotion but never quite manage it. Oxford are similar. There's no one to be scared of in the league, it's about who has the bottle and grit over the course of the season.
Don’t want play offs again, if we did get there and got to final I’d seriously consider watching at home with beer. After last weeks shambles it’s a stretch but it’s got to be too 2 or nowt
It's early doors.. what is looking likely is that there isn't going to be one or two break away at the top this season everyone is beating everyone else. Everyone is capable of going on a little run.. look at Port Vale not lost since Oakwell.. Nearly everyone in this league is capable of going up this season us included..
Yeah if we make the play off final I won't be going to Wembley. Been enough in the past and it's a pain to get to and from, plus the cost and how awful it feels in defeat.
