    Just arrived.

Over 3 hours to do 79 miles.

The M62 is a bloody snarled up abortion today.

Underinvestment in northern infrastructure compared to the south, it’s so different it’s embarrassing.

You tried the M25 M1 M3 recently - I agree infrastructure investment in the North is lacking but the South isnt much better

Mate, the south gets the lot. Anything north of Nottingham is pushed under the rug.

The North gets nowt to spend on infrastructure, the South gets £10.38. You might be able to see a disparity but I assure you that there's almost nothing in it.

If you think the M62 is bad, see how quickly you can get past Chertsey.

They are spunkin loads of dosh on the M25 / M3 interchange though. Meanwhile, the Motram by-pass has been pushed back again; nevermind doing something with the M62 gap.

Good point, but there are 'southern' examples - the Arundel bypass has been pushed back 10 years. It's a problem nationally.

Mottram is delayed due to an objection from a member of the public with court case due in a few weeks. We’ve been ready to go since January. Annoyingly it’s the same bloke who raise objections on our jobs on the A19
&A63. He lives nowhere near Mottram really frustrating.

If he loses, does he have to pay court costs?

It’s a charity, the Campaign to Protect Rural England that’s lodged an objection.

I've noticed over the last week or so more accidents in short stretches than ever. Nearly involved in a couple missen.
Friday evening alone M1. 3 accidents Between J34 and 35A.
On radio 6 mile tailback to J29. Northbound.

    Last tuesday
J37 to 38 went down to one lane.(outside) I got over early 400 mts nowt near in rear view. Dropped to 40mph as shown. And a feckin arsehole doing gods knows what. 80mph at a guess. Came up on my inside overtook me within 10mts of the cones.
Yesterday 2 accidents M62 eastbound within a couple of miles of one another.

All those residents on Mottram Moor and Hyde Road ought to sue him for unnecessary exposure to vehicle emissions.
