…have a feeling that Styles will go. 3 needed in total? A striker, left-back and CB and we should be good to go with cover and a decent bench to go to once the injuries are back?

No need for a LWB for me. Williams and Kitching have covered it adequately in the past. Plus with Winfield and Lofthouse being around I can’t see us even looking at anyone else.

Agree with striker and CB. I do think McAtee will ultimately replace Styles rather than 1 of the forwards. Good signing but doesn’t alter what we need. Would love to see us use the Styles money on Pollock and The lad from Wimbledon but not getting my hopes up.

For me, it as much depends on who goes out, to determine who comes in. A striker and a centre half would be the priority otherwise.

Yeah I’m expecting Styles to leave if not he’s more than capable of playing LWB but we still need a target man and a centre half ideally both with previous league one experience.

Unless we plan on moving on 2-3 CBs we don't need another.

Is Kitching genuinely injured? Seems convenient after his performance last week and the bids turned down. Wouldn't be surprised to see him gone.

NEWPOSTER here , I expect Styles will go probably for less than his get out clause but will be undisclosed, hope we move Iseka on, and can see Kitchen being allowed to go after the performance of our Ponte Colliery superstar performed yesterday.

Striker and centre half as a priority. Cover at left wing-back wouldn’t be a bad shout either.

Wouldn’t at all be surprised to see Shaw and Cundy leave on loan, and Styles permanently.

Seem to recall Helik was cited as injured all the way up to going to Huddersfield except for one friendly game.

He hasn't had the time to make anything up yet.

I'd be really surprised if we bring in another striker, perhaps another one on loan maybe.

Yes. Didn’t play for us for 5/6 months, signed for Hudds and sure enough was on their bench for the very next match!

IMHO we need someone strong up front. Last season we had Norwood (and Tedic on loan) and although we've brought in a few forwards, none of them can do the job that they could do.

We've already got too many centre halves as it is but I'd be much happier if one of them had more experience and was able to organise the defence. I don't doubt that some of those we have will have very good careers and go on to be that type of player, but they're not there yet.

Styles will go if someone meets the release clause. As clubs miss out on their first (second and third) choice targets I expect at least one to turn to Styles and pay that fee.

We evidently need a striker in the mould of Norwood.

A centre half who can lead & have a positive influence on our young uns like Shepard & Lopata. I expect both Cundy & McCarthy to leave one on loan & the other permanently.

Another left back would be ideal to push Cadden for a place.

I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see Styles have his clause triggered, & Herbie Kane to leave late on on deadline day, so in that case another midfielder, maybe Clifton from Grimsby?

If we let Norwood go to get nombe in then it was 100% the right decision.

2 forwards either permanent or loan.

    Shaw, Jalo out on loan.

1 centre half with experience (games played not necessarily age)

short term loan to replace Connell as we have no one really to do that role

    if Kitching goes another defender.
