I myself like to watch how players that leave our club do at their new clubs, it’s what I do, but going on other club site for general chat about how they think new players from clubs like ours are doing it turns into a barrage of abuse and derogatory comments about the club you support, not all of the comments are as stupid but I thought the idea of having these sites was to discuss what they think their club is doing at the point of the season, whether it’s the start of the season or mid season, it’s banter about football in general surely. The last time I looked I had 5 fingers not 6 and me wife’s not my sister, I certainly don’t get my dinner out of other peoples wheelie bins, use the sites for what we all love about our sport not turn them into hate sites with horrible replies COYR

What you have to remember is that the fans of other clubs are generally not as knowledgeable, travelled, erudite or supportive as we all are...

They’re weird as well. Half of them think everything their club does is the best thing since sliced bread and the others hate everything their club does and want the board, manager and players out.

Football supporters are quite tribal but couple that with the 'safety' of posting on a social media site and its no surprise that some fans' sense of decency and respect is non-existent. I myself love all Owls, Blades and Peacocks.:) Love thy neighbor eh?
Edit: Spot the American spelling due to predictive text. Yank twa.ts. Oops!!

Keep off Porktalk unless like me you like a self indulgent nosey occasionally to feel good about life.
I assume it’s that lot as Utd aren’t as bad and if it was others locally Rotherham for example I’d chortle, our town isn’t the best but it’s light years ahead of Rotherham/Donny

Given we have a Sunderland fan and a luton fan post quite often on here. I reckon this site must be better than most. Just decent conversation in the main.

As for six fingers. We were in a Rotherham pub heading to the friendly and a wendy who happened to be in. said "Bet tha's got six fingers" to mi mate. Can't remember my mates (Tony rip) full reply but probably included "pr1ck" Then showed him the only digit he had on one hand. His thumb lol. :) Quality.
