    For anyone interested. We've scheduled to dismantle the temporary mast up at Emley between 6th & 22nd September, now all all services are again transmitting from the main mast. Will be done by a series of heli lifts.

    Its become a bot of an eyesore that temporary mast. Be nice to see the tower stood on its own again

    Is the original tower now shorter than before? Think that’s what I read earlier this year, due to the masts not being as high?

    Zip World Penrhyn Quarry is the location of the fastest zip wire in the world, Velocity 2! It’s 1555 metres long (that’s almost a MILE) and the absolute fastest people can reach is 120mph, but the average is 100mph.

    HOW LONG DOES ZIP WORLD VELOCITY TAKE?
    The experience lasts around 2 hours in total. It is recommended to book in advance as it can fill up during peak times. We arrived early but were then able to jump on to an earlier slot as there were empty spaces. The Velocity 2 zip wire alone, takes just over 60 seconds.
