    Toney was 19 when he was here, tedic 24. Could tell Toney was going to be good he had attributes pace, strength good in the air, just abit raw. Tedic didn't impress me much for a player city played 3 million for.

    I thought he had a better spell with us than Watters.
    I was happy to give Watters another chance.
    Agree with previous post ,he as to be better than the likes of the lad from Rotherham.
    Just gives us another dimension up top.

    Toney had also played 60+ games in the UK before he came to us whereas Tedic had played 0. Experience isn’t just age it’s also games played.

    That’s not to say Tedic will be a world beater and I can’t see him troubling Man Citeh’s first team but people jump in too quickly with judgement. I can see Tedic playing at a better level than all our current forwards.

    Think Newcastle paid nearly 1million for toney when he was 17 after having a good season or 2 in league 2. Probably right he has age on his side possibly jalo has more potential. Not writing him off I just wasn't that impressed. He could hold the ball up apart from that wasn't great.
