    There is not one reason a player would choose Barnsley over Rotherham.


    Whats more likely?

    Barnsley get Promoted or Rotherham finish 21st.

    I would say the latter by a mile.


    And besides league statuses...

    Their Stadium is far more modern and polished

    They can do basic things like sort out a decent kit and arrange pre-season friendlies

    Their owned by a local man who has over a decade of EFL experience

    They have Hugill who has played 250 championship games, Sean Morrison who has played 450 men games


    Basically its a Professional Organisation vs Amateur Hour

    Sadly, you're right.
    Historically we've been a far better prospect than Rotherham but not at present.
    Hopefully in a couple of years things will change.

    Well buy a season ticket for Millers then.
    I've worked at New York Stadium how you think this is better than Oakwell.
    It's like a mechano built stadium.
    They have looked up to us for years ,and shortly that will be the case.
    Take a chill pill .

    I honestly just don't get the constant barrage of negativity, no matter what. Someone will find something. Yes, Rotherham are currently doing slightly better than us - a rarity. Not sure it merits a thread.

    Its like if we overturn one negative thing we have to do our damnedest to find another, even daft stuff like this

    I very much doubt potential signings are at all interested in kit problems or whether pre-season friendlies were cancelled. Or indeed whether they are owned by a local man or someone from further afield. I think it probably comes down to what league they're in and pay plus manager and quality of squad.
    That said, I can't deny that I am envious of Rotherham. They're some way ahead of us atm.

    I honestly do not get why you post on a Barnsley forum. You seem to be hatred through and through for the club. Maybe if it is truly so harrowing for you it might be better to take up other interests.

    Wouldn’t imagine a player with ambition would be the slightest bit interested in any of those you have listed except the where they are now and their belief of potential which is fair comment added to that as others said on the other thread if he believes one season in the Championship will lead to something better.

    The rest of your list may be factually true but wouldn’t interest a player in the slightest.
