    Reckon Cosgrove in with Styles possible going the other way to Brum? Maybe the loan is a sweetener for a deal.. Just a thought, no rumour behind that.

    At this point i think we're in a no-win situation with this one. Kitching clearly wants to go as stated by their manager, his head is clearly turned or at least partially affecting his performances and we've already turned down 4 million pound which is massive for a club like ours in league one.

    Alternatively this is the last day of the transfer window, the odds of us getting someone in to directly replace Kitchings quality is awfully low and we'd also be losing our captain for the second time in the transfer window.

    For me, i'd be giving him the same talk Andersen got last season, it's too hard and too late to find an adequate replacement so if he knuckles down and puts in performances like he did last season, he will get the move he deserves next summer.

    The lad is only 23 and he's proven time and time again when hes focused on the task in hand, hes a fantastic player. Let's make it known to him Oakwell is the platform he needs to stick himself in the shop window next summer for an even better team than Coventry.
