For quite a bit of money since the new owners and the old new owners took over and the more positive fans keep saying that eventually it will pay off and the squad will improve yet all the evidence points to the club having stagnated at best and gone backwards quite a bit at worst. We keep being told that the money generated will be reinvested into the squad yet despite generating possibly £10 million in fees this summer all we've signed are lower league punts and loans. The club will never move forward while it's being run in the way it is currently being run the faces at board level might have change the plan clearly hasn't.
[QUOTE="stairfoot.red, post: 3175913, member: 7205"The club will never move forward while it's being run in the way it is currently being run [/QUOTE] This is it. We need to rip up the transfer policy if we ever want to get better
Given the standard of players we are signing as replacements it should be a hell of a lot lower than it was. If it's not something is very wrong
I’m just putting out there that investing in the team could be wages as well, which are I’m guessing between 2 and 3 million per year…
£10 million + brought in all we were promised would be reinvested in the squad bugger all spent on transfer fees we must be paying alot of wages to the lower league punts we've signed, or somebodies telling porkies
Paid in instalments. 2 of the highest paid still at the club only oulare was on more. So I dont think we will be rolling in it. There is still the fact only 60% of turnover can be spent on players wages. It would be interesting to know the incomings and outgoings at present. I agree re reinvestment and they have stated that fact. But I genuinely dont think it's a simple as some folk think. Maybe we will take stock of the finances now Kitchen has gone bear in mind the bid was turned down yesterday and only finalised today not giving much time to manoeuvre. January window might be interesting or not.
