    Are we allowed to sign free agents if so do you think club will go down that avenue. In my opinion we are a couple of defenders away from being promotion challengers.

    I'd guess anyone else who is a free agent and we can afford their wages, isn't gonna improve what we have substantially.

    Yes. Plenty of them out there as well. I posted a few I’d be looking at the other day, but there’s less need for a striker or LWB now, just a central defender. Łopata and Williams are definite starters for me though. Probably see what the lad from Rotherham is like before panicking.

    Rubbish is very harsh. Mixed at worse.

    Centre back is a concern yeah but the business done elsewhere looks very good.

    The French lad needs time to settle in. McCart hasn't kicked a ball for us yet and Mccarthy is gradually getting back to full fitness.

    There’s a reason most are out of contract.

    And then there’s the fact some may need 3-4 weeks at least to get upto speed fitness wise. Some maybe longer.

    No point getting a free agent in really. As others have said, would take them ages to get fit and up to speed.

    And I'm not aware we've ever signed a free agent outside the window so it's academic really as to whether or not we could sign a free agent.
