Looking good this year, definitely better than Dallas and Shaw can see why he’s knocking on the door. In the last 2 games he’s come on he’s been heavily involved in both of the goals.

He looks ready for the step up, such a shame he didn’t score as he was close and loved watching him close up.

Really rooting for Marshy. He clearly loves Barnsley but has the talent to back it up. Lovely to see.

He’s was playing as wing back, very technical gifted player who can beat a man.

Cheers, sounds promising. A low risk position to give a young lad a chance. Although we have a stack of options on the right, left not so many.

Thrilled he’s getting his chance in the first team, he’s been really positive every time he’s come on so far and showing he can add something else to what we already have in the forward position. Goals will come soon enough, I have no doubt about that.

When he first came to be known I thought he would break in to the team but then he kinda disappeared for a bit, probably due to injuries. I’m glad he’s now seemingly taking his chance.

Yeah he was so close with that cross from Watters.

You would hope he is the long term replacement for Cole

Loved Watters' finish but wish Marshy had scored it. There's always that little bit extra when an academy lad scores, especially one who loves the club. He seems much more physically able now than he did last year or so, bit quicker, bit stronger, and it looks like he's technically improved when on the ball too, he's got deceiving quick feet sometimes, holds it up well & has a good pass on him, did well for the assist last week too. Fingers crossed no more injuries and he works himself into a starting line up!

Must be a crazy feeling scoring for the team you support, I know he’s scored before but it been in meaningless games. We should start to see a really good core group of players coming though the youth ranks. The u18s winning the league last year just shows that the youth coaches are doing a fantastic job.

Glad Hayden’s got a positive mention, wondered if he’d slipped back a bit with him not seemingly in the 1st team picture like others around him. Used to work with his mam so he’ll be a down to earth lad that’s for sure
