Not getting carried away in the slightest but all things considered, we’re in a good position. The ‘new defence’ will take great confidence in the clean sheet albeit against a team that hasn’t yet scored. I haven’t watched or listened to the game today, just occasionally read the matchday thread on here and the BBC App so I can only go on those. Look forward to seeing the highlights tonight
A clean sheet, is a clean sheet, but we have the goalkeeper to thank at the moment, more than the defenders. It's a whole new backline, which will take time to bed in, but I'm sure they will improve. Things are not as bad as many are painting it, although there is plenty of room for improvement.
Not our best performance, but, loads of positives.Great Goalkeeepng, Clean Sheet, Watters gets a much needed goal, French Centre Half and couple of Barnsley's young guns got more valuable minutes , Cole continues his goal scoring exploits. Now use international break to get the new players embedded. And hopefully a couple of players back from injuries
Two successive away wins with clean sheets, it was just what we needed after those two successive home defeats. It puts us in a handy place in the table now just behind the top teams. And despite the plastic pee pot match coming up this midweek, we've got an important bit of break time now to iron out a few more things.
Credit where it’s due,he’s praising the lads because we’ve won.We won’t hear from the usual suspects till our next defeat,
