I’m taking my wife and friends this afternoon and they have a blue badge. So questions please-
How to I book tickets. I’ve tried on the BFc site and it’s hopeless.
Do I need to book a disabled car park spot.
How do I use my season ticket for free entrance. All my other attenders are over 70-can I pay at the turnstile or do I need to go to the ticket office.
Is only the East Stand Lower in use.
    Thank you in advance Phil

It’s too late to book tickets now (free tickets for ST holders needed to be booked in advance), but you can pay on the gate (£5 adults, £1 concessions). Ticket office is closed today.

Car parking spots had to be booked (£2) but I’m not sure if that applies to blue badge holders.

    Yes, East Stand only.

I’d normally suggest the official website rather than John from Worsbro on here but the club website is going backwards.
Think you’ll be fine in car park won’t be that busy, you can pay on the gate no idea about the free ticket with season tickets as it charged me.

I had to go back a few articles as pay on the gate hasn’t been mentioned on the most recent ones but it definitely said here that you can https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/20232/august/womens-ticket-details/ Think it was just the free ones you had to book. Communication has been terrible as usual though.

I’ve been trying since Thursday to book a ticket online. Every link they’ve provided takes you to a page that says ‘ O results found’ and just gives you the Grimsby match. I’ve come to the conclusion that there were only ever a limited number of free tickets for ST holders. It’s pissed me off that much that I’m not going to even attempt to buy a ticket for the Grimsby match. Cricket this aft for me and movie night Tuesday now.

Yeah I tried to book online too on Friday but none of the links were working.

The question to our owners is who is responsible for the advertising of bfc events on our website and why are they still employed?

Lower tier looked to be fairly full. To say Barnsley women had 130 at their last match this crowd is going to be huge today.

I hope it goes smoothly today. Looking at Twitter I’m definitely expecting:

    - ST holders to be turning up expecting to be able to get in free by showing their ST today, having not booked in advance
    - People turning up to collect their prebooked tickets from a closed box office

To be fair I rang the ticket office personally earlier in the week and was told you could use your season ticket on the day for free admission.

Seriously? I hope so for people turning up today’s sale but if it would have said that I wouldn’t have had to pay to buy them online.

    Went the village fete today.
Everyone knew where it was, when it started, how much it was and that it was cash only. All advertised on posters locally and even was a website and facebook ads. Loads there having a great time, bar didn't run out of beer or burgers.
All organised by Doris aged 72, no IT qualifications I believe and unpaid.
She could probably teach bfc a bit about publicising an event efficiently.

Scanners not working on the turnstiles, went for a beer a few minutes after kickoff and it had just gone off. One serving lass says to other she's been told they're not replacing any beers today. First one says she's not looking forward to half time then.
Poor kids. Lions led by donkeys.
