Cas and Wakey have been a disgrace and are nowhere near super League standard, wouldn't mind seeing them both gone.

Wakefield promised that RL they would get a new ground/ do Belle Vue up,new ground fell through and its taken them 25 years to finally do it. Same with c@$ but they still haven't even started on that dump. They both used to get their plans out every time it was brought up about facilities needing doing. Iam glad they aren't moving grounds and are doing them up ( IF EVER) with c@$ because their history is there,i would hate The Reds to move from Oakwell and we have a gang of volunteers to thank at Featherstone for upgrading ours but there are some things still to do.

We haven't got there yet(Fev) and dose it matter how big/ small a Rugby Town is ? Look at football with Luton and Bournemouth it hasn't stopped them going up.

Comments like this do nothing for loyal supporters, hopefully Trin will be back to the top flight where they belong.

Well done Castleford in beating Hull.
Hopefully our good form continues and we survive.

Very dodgy carry on. Plans sent to Wakey council for a retail park land sports stadium built just off junction 30 of the m62.

    And guess what?

it's now site of an Amazon warehouse and a Newcold cold store.

    Corrupt or what.

Are Wakefield named after the church. There used to be a church at Belle Vue. Holy trinity etc?

Yes the club was formed by the church, they played originally on Heath Common, before moving to Belle Vue in 1895.

They also were part of the original Wakefield Harriers athletics club until they went their separate ways many moons ago

Yeah well done I suppose to Cass, as much as I can't stand them (and Wakey and their fans as either!), they have done enough to stay up.
And we/Hull just gifted it to them tonight, its just another pathetic end of season for us after going out of the Cup Qtr finals.
