Next season in League 1 im forecasting this kind of situation: Sheff Wed Wrexham Derby Spending 3x our wages, throwing money about Blackpool Rotherham Being really strong Its gonna be another.... 104 points 101 points 95 points We need to get out this year I reckon
I don't think you'll be far off. It's important we make sure we get out of the weakest league one in many years.
I agree we need to go up, I think that every year though, nothing special about this year. 2 of the 5 teams you mention are with us this year anyway and I don't see the other 3 adding any strength to the league. Maybe with the exception of Rotherham. I'd be more concerned about teams like Stevenage for instance, with an experienced manager at this level battling for every point, cos no one expects them to do well, over a team like Weds, bunch of has beens who think they'll walk the league and we know we've got the beating of them.
Weak as piss this season. Be surprised if anyone walks easily to the title and you won't need anywhere near as many points this season for automatic promotion. Lots of big budgets gone compared to last season.
It’s an incredibly poor league. We are one of the few slightly better than poor teams. Hopefully in the next few months we can push ourselves into the consistently good bracket.
Other than last season I dont think there's really been any other stand out seasons. Its regular strength to me.
Good manager is key. If Collins is any good we'll be somewhere up top at end of season even if we dont go up. If he's crap we'll get turned over by teams with obviously weaker squads and end up mid table or worse.
Spot on I remember a thread last season saying Derby will walk this league hope we can finish 2nd. Derby were **** one of the poorest sides to come to oakwell last season. We needed to go up last season more than anything.
