This is one that I'm 100% ok with, to be fair. I love it.

I've not yet seen a convincing argument against it, and I'm not sure one can be constructed which doesn't just assume that humanity has some kind of special consciousness.

If you believe in a soul or whatever then fair enough, but if not then where's the argument?

Probably looking at a lot more than decades unless they can travel at or faster than light. If they are advanced enough to do that then my point was, I doubt they would be crashing into the Earth or getting detected by the US military.

always had 1 major question with moon landing. Who filmed neil armstrong coming down the ladder to set foot on the moon?

The Westinghouse camera was stored for flight in the lunar module’s Modular Equipment Stowage Assembly (MESA), a compartment near the ladder that Armstrong climbed down to reach the Moon’s surface. To activate the camera, he pulled on a handle that in turn released the door to the MESA. Engineers attached the camera upside down to secure it to the door, and tilted at an 11-degree angle because of how the door rested in its final position. Both issues were overcome in retransmission of the signal back on Earth.

Damn if only one of the 400,000 people involved in the cover-up thought that someone would bring up that there shouldn't have been a cameraman on the moon

Really? You've always had the question but never bothered to look up the answer?

Yes but he was such a perfectionist he insisted they film on location.

Why didn't any of the astronauts ever see the Clangers or the Soup Dragon?

Take it from someone with experience of working in much smaller projects - you can't do anything without someone telling everyone else what is going on. There is no way they could keep 400,000 at NASA quiet if the Moon landings were faked - and the same with UFOs and most other conspiracy theories.
