The King and Queen are attending the St Leger on Saturday to see their horse Desert Hero. Clearly William Haggas must have given them the wink and tapped the side of his nose! My second ever trip to a course coincided with Her Late Majesty's Dunfermline winning the Leger in 1977. I didn't cheer because I was with Lester on Alleged, who paid me back when winning the next two years' Arc's!

Its not a good card, City Streak in the 4.45, an Night Sparkle 3.35 would be good e way bets, but i like big odds, Lincoln Legacy 1.50, good luck, an above all enjoy the day.

Sorry i couldnt help, hope you had a good day,

Scratch my first suggestion - its a non-runner. That being the case I'd probably plump for Snash which looks like its got enough juice in it for an each way/tote bet at the track. Dodgy race though.

Some decent money going on Ryan’s Rambuso Creek in the first race.
    Looks likely to finish favourite

Number 5, 15, or a pink cap. A combination of number and colour guarantees success.

    Thank me later...

Kevin Ryan wins with Room Service at decent price.
He’s trained 2 winners of this race previously

Big price alert. THE CAMDEN COLT (5.20) should not be a18/1 shot. ;)

He ran a respectable race at Ponty and, I agree that his price of 16’s/ 18’s seems good.
Ew for 1st 3 is available as well

    So, Friday!

More than half the runners in the first (1.15) are unraced. Impossible to assess this race. In the second (1.50) I'm with War Games. Owen Burrows' colt won impressively over course and distance, crucially on soft going. He has bags of potential and holds Group 1 entries. He'll do for me. In the 2.25 I go with Big Evs, trained by Barnsley lad Mick Appleby. Five furlongs suits him. He has already won the Windsor Castle (Royal Ascot) and the Molecomb (Goodwood). The Good wood win was on heavy going, so this rain-softened ground will hold no problems for him. 7/2 is very good value with so much in his favour. In the Doncaster Cup (3.00) they all hold a chance bar The Grand Visir, so it's a no-bet race for me. In the 3.35 I very much like the chance of Real Dream, and I think you can put a line through his run in the Ebor. His win at Ascot in July came on soft, he has the most potential of this field, and Ryan rides. 3/1 is fine. The 4.10 and 4.45 are tricky handicaps, but Succession holds a strong chance in the 5.20 on Timeform and Racing Post ratings. 3/1 looks plenty generous enough. Good luck to all who play!

    1:15 Morning Light and Stifling.
    1:50 Battlecry and Warm Spell.
2:25 Kyllian and Flora of Bermuda.
    3:00 Sweet William
3:35 Real Dream and Bague D'or.
    4:10 Cherry and Queen Emma.
    4:45 Baradar and Persuasion.
    5:20 Blue Prince.

Got the ground wrong when I looked on Wednesday. Thought it wouldnt have been as soft by Thursday. Two winners though...
Anyway, BHA are saying soft/good-soft for today so not quite as deep. Sunny and warmish by race time and no rain currently forecast for tomorrow.
    Today's suggestions
    1. Circe
    2. Dancing Gemini
    3. Graceful Thunder ( I backed Big Evs at York and he bombed)
    4. Coltrane
    5. Bague Dor
    6. Flowers Of Dubai.
    7. Persuasion
    8. Succession

Small each way (4 places) on Graceful Thunder as I dont think she should be the price she is. If she WINS rather than just places I'll do the same with Flowers Of Dubai for the same reason. No betting other than that. Too dodgy or horses too short in price for me.
