I’m no connoisseur on RU, indeed I know little, but how crap are England, error strewn first half. Fortunate to be in front
We've been garbage, too slow, too predictable and any good possession has been worthlessly kicked back to Japan.
This game is dire. I missed the first game against Argentina where we were apparently good but today we are really poor.
The thing that is worrying is that the tactics of the previous 50 minutes seem to have an aim of making it a game of chance and scoring a lucky try.. rather than holding the ball and making things happen. The most positive aspect so far is that he's taken Mitchell, the scrum half off the field.
Getting better in the last 10 minutes or so. What is that stadium announcer on though? Can’t make out what he is shouting but how is he allowed to prattle on like that when the ball is in play?
Totally agree i love Rugby but England made hard work of that, credit to Japan they played pretty well.
Only started playing in the last fifteen minutes. Pretty dire affair prior to that. The constant kicking was an absolute snore fest. But the suggestion that NFL is a better sport than this ought to be a crime punishable by death. Or at least made to drink pg tips tea when proper folk have Yorkshire.
If you ever needed any proof of the quality of the clientelle at Rugby Union it was the singalong to Don't Stop Me Now. Ban it.
Turned it on the last 15 minutes…….much work to be done but 2 wins from 2. Great kick by Ford for Stewards try
I'm a huge rugby fan, but that was pretty awful. To be fair to England the first too games were played in pretty insane heat and humidity making running the ball very challenging. Not fun viewing though.
