O/T Clutch Replacement

    Hi,

    Totally off topic, anyone know who can supply and replace a clutch, pretty cheap?

    I have been wanting to get rid of the car for a few months now and then the clutch as gone and broke, so just a cheap fix is what i want just to get me to the point i can sell it.

    Been quoted over a grand several times and £756 direct by kia but they dont have space for several weeks to fit me in.

    I had mine done at Moto save, Admittedly at family rate as Bro’ in law works at one of their Branches, I got the impression that normal rates are quite good and certainly cheaper than the dealers

    Phone Euro at stairfoot or SDL at Hoyle mill.. give em your number plate and get one priced up.. they even drop em off at your home for about a fiver extra..
    Then depending on where you live get a local garage to fit it just labour.

    I’ve just had mine done. Portland street garage, just off Donny road. Was the cheapest quote and quickest to get it in

    If you need it doing on the drive, get some quotes through "click mechanic". They have mobile guys who come to you.

    I suppose the mobile guys have less overheads than a garage so can be that bit cheaper.

    I was going to say that if you’re looking for cheap, you could always replace it yourself but if you don’t have any of the kit it probably wouldn’t be much of a saving. You would have the stuff for any future work on any cars though.
