Pompey John last night..

A few Pompey fans in East Dene club before the match including the, shall we say colourful, John Westwood. They were loud and so e a bit worse for wear with drink, but we’re very respectful, John, who looks a right rough ‘un and could be seen as intimidating to some covered in tattoos and his ‘attire’ was a top lad. Even sang a verse of We Love you Barnsley before he left. Just goes to show about not judging a book by its cover. Generally a decent set of lads

 

Did he manage to avoid getting his **** out for once?

 

If he’d done that I would have said so and certainly wouldn’t have called him a top lad. I can only go on what I saw. Like I said they were a bit loud but well behaved

He made the national news a couple of years since for non footballing reasons.
The man is no nugget in reality.

 

Apparently he was banned from pompey 4 times last season for odd games. Let's hope he's a changed man. Ought to be. He's going on 60.
Their fans are really divided over him. Some even saying he's an embarrassment to the club.
