My only concern is who’s playing the defensive role in midfield?

    Good team that.

Possibly the strongest side we could’ve put out, barring Cadden maybe? But Dodgson deserves his chance after the second half cameo the other night so can’t argue. Bench looks strong too.

Hope Adam Phillips proves his worth today. Been disappointing so far and not near last season's standard.

Rough on Cadden - one under par half in an otherwise very consistent Reds career so far.
    Don’t dislike the new lad.

That is the side that will win games more often than not.

McCart can think himself very lucky to be in that starting 11. Absolutely woeful o Tuesday night and looked miles off the standard required.

Then again Phillips can consider himself lucky too. He appears to be in the side based in stats alone.

And watters is lucky to be in the squad at all. Maybe today will be the day he shocks the world and actually tries if he's brought on.

Having said all that I think that starting 11 is miles better than the other day even if it's hard on Cadden and Cotter who have both impressed, they're just unfortunate that the two subs performed so damn well that they simply have to start so missing out is no bad reflection on them

Looks a fair enough selection. Arguments for Cadden but Dodgson perhaps earned a start.

A refreshing change of selection, looks like a team selected to win a game.
Previously, we were picking a team not to lose imo

I know who I’d want crossing the ball for Cole & Cosgrove or getting a chance on the edge of the box.

Yeah, same. Hopefully not Kane as its been apparent in the past that it's not his strong suit. Styles would be better there in my opinion, but then I'd also like to see him given a bit of a free role like he allegedly had vs Portsmouth.

I didn't go to the game midweek, but he's been poor when played there in the past. The Oxford game in particular, and apparently his form took a nosedive when he was put in that role for Oxford.

That being said, that 11 should be more than enough to get the job done this afternoon.

I suppose you can have Dodgson running them ragged and then Cadden coming on at 60 minutes and picking them off.

Still think it's tough on Shepherd. He kept so many clean sheets and didn't really do owt wrong.

That's the team I would have picked. I like Cadden but we have a defensive weakness down that side when he is playing that teams will play on. This also gives us the opportunity to go 442 should we need to.

Didn't look happy getting off the team coach. Couldn't wait to rush through the main entrance. Most hung around for pics and autographs.
