Owlstalk is comedy gold. But, and with bitterness put to one side, it was clear at Wembley that they would struggle in the Championship without significant investment. Which they haven’t had, except from their supporters who getting ripped off big time. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch
To be honest I do want Wednesday to win a few…just enough to keep him in a job but not enough to keep them up
But we were clearly the better side on the day, with a young team rather than a set of OAP’s, and with a chance of keeping the likes of Andersen and Thomas. Doesn’t matter now though, so let’s just enjoy their misery.
I'd prefer them to be so far behind by the time they sack him that they wouldn't survive even if they employed Guardiola.
I'm not sure if Duff would have stayed, even if we had won promotion. That might have attracted more attention from other better clubs, rather than just Swanny. And there's always the suggestion that he'd had disagreements with the owners here, about various things. If he had stayed however, I think our chances of having a decent season and staying up in the Championship, would have been better than the Fowls.
How's Bannan's missus going on? Still got to tuck up with that ugly lovely person every night although this season he'll be in a terrible mood, just seen his strop for the 2nd goal.
