Should Mike Dean be charged for bringing the game in to disrepute regarding his recent revelation of not over turning his "mates" decision due to the fact he had suffered and endured vitriol during a poor performance.
Hes basicly admitted cheating. If that was a player or manager they would have been charged straight away.
Cost me quite a bit of money as I’d backed a red card in the game …. Where there is blame there’s a claim?
Charged by whom? He's no longer within the jurisdiction of the FA. I suppose they could do it in case he ever returned to the game, but they'd probably prefer to avoid making an issue out of it and genrating unwanted publicity, like we saw in the recent cricket scandal. As for being charged by the police? I doubt they'd get a fraud charge to stick, despite the betting implications. Any type of match-fixing allegation usually requires some kind of conspiracy, ie multiple people benefitting from the offence. I strongly doubt there's anything they could do.
Worrying for the game isn't it' could this shed a bit of light on the Kitching non penalty at wembley where the referee has since graduated to the prem.
