We worked on refurbishing council houses in Moss Side. Never a dull moment.

    I can imagine.
I might be wrong but I'm sure Shez (Sheridan) came from that neck of the woods.

They don't. I hadn't realised their deal had come to an end. They announced in July that they weren't renewing their deal, so presumably there isn't currently a sponsor because it was so close to the start of the season.

First time I went to watch Reds at Maine Road we had all the windows put through on coach. Don’t think I crawled out from under seat until we got back to Dodworth!!

1993 Fa Cup game was carnage after the game- bumped into a Barnsley fan on the way back to the station- his face was a mess

The two times I remember were the minutes silence the week after Hillsborough which took your breath away and the time I parked in the city centre down a side street, got the bus in to the ground and when I got back I couldn't find the car for 2 hours. Happy days.

The only thing I can remember is how crap our memories were, before the internet. Funny, that. :)
I had a cousin played for City, dumped on his arse when Trevor Aylott nodded home a winner, in front of 30 odd thousand at Oakwell, one Tuesday night. I’m sure someone knows all of their names.?
That’s about as much as my organic search engine honestly remembers. Reight Kev..? ;)

Didn't we get our first ever league win against them, at home, in season '87 ?.
And then we also won away at Maine road the following season, in what was a late Play off push season.

I went to Maine Road a year or two after the Premiership and felt very unsafe in the concourse area as it was very crowded and felt like I was going to get squashed. Not nice.

He was born in Stretford mate and I guess grew up there. His mates were all Man utd fans (Which makes sense) and he followed liverpool for some reason.

I remember that like it was yesterday. Big Trev leaping likes salmon to head that one in. It was the only time
I stood and watched a match from the old brewery stand because by the time we got there we couldn’t get on the Ponty end

The few times we couldn't get to our normal pog. Close to old tunnel fence Terrace (ponte side.) At back. That was more than likely one of em, when we got 30k +. The kop side was less popular but at least we could manoeuvre a little better lol.

I was queueing up with my mate and our dads for tickets and saw someone in front drop a fiver (I just saw it fall, not who dropped it). Nobody else noticed, so mine and my mates tickets were freebies

Half way line in the Brewery Stand near the back. In fact that near the back, my back has still got grooves in it from the corrugated sheeting they used to have on there.
