Given the rules about selection, we'd probably get disqualified for even suggesting that it doesn't take our full strength first team to beat a bunch of children from a Premier League academy.
So we've got one away game left, after two home wins and 6 points. Have we won our group already then, I'm not sure what Bradford have done so far, before we visit them at Valley parade.
I;d say abart 2,500ish an abart 200 from Manchester, sarnds like a good game, an a win gorra be happy wi that, keep the faith, C,O,Y,R.
Not played at all yet as they were still in the other cup no one cares about until we get near Wembley.
That's right and about 100 from city. Actually a good atmosphere for a game lean on meaning. Barnsley have some good young players in the wings.
Was feeling ill last night so didn’t go to the game but shelled out for ifollow. Thought it was an enjoyable game and was good to see the young reds. Definitely some promising players on show!
Got the feeling from watching on ifollow last night that the game didn`t mean anything to the Man City youngsters. I thought we had some top performances from the BFC lads - some of the smiles on the faces of our lads at the end was very good to see.
Have to disagree, they looked up for it, I just think they knew we were too strong for them. They did have small periods in the game where they looked really useful going forward but we’re often muscled out of it. Most of our team were of a similar age to them and they play for an ‘elite’ Academy so it was a bit of a coup for our younger lads that played.
Yes, some good talent coming through. Pickard, Chapman, Yoganathan, Bland just a few of em. Commentators kept bigging Jalo up for his performance last night, but I must have missed something as he didn't have half as much impact as the ones mentioned above IMO. I think just because he is tipped for good things in the game, they automatically felt they had a to call a really good game for him. Not pulling him down, just think others deserved the praise more.
