Hell of a game for your first. No wonder you became a fan. You should have come to the game against Hull a few days earlier and watched Keith Edwards head a couple past us. Would have put you off for life and saved a lot of heartache!
Second game was the 1-1 Crystal Palace game. The only things I can remember about both games are being in the east stand and sat on the leaning bar with my dad behind me so I could lean on him so I could see the game. The only player I remember is Joe Joyce must have been because he was the closest of our players to me

I wonder if anyone has Barnsley v Reading 94/95 season. My first game. Had the programme somewhere but its long gone. Surprisingly I've still got my Platform 5 Motive Power Book from 1993. Not sure why that survived when I got it before.
