    The bloke would benefit from taking himself off Twitter. It feels like the confrontational, point scoring nature of it has totally swamped his journalistic approach.

    I think it's Andy Giddings that has mood swings (see Hume incident in particular, but has happened more often).
    Adam Oxley tends to be excellent when I've heard him.

    That said, the banter they have between each other does make for a good show, and they are all obviously good mates.

    * Based on last season, I've listened once since Wembley.

    Giddings not much better had a difference of opinion with when Warnock was at Cardiff and said even radio dee dar said it wasn't right decision. I said it wasn't right but he took sir Neil Warnock's side needless to say. One good thing about the sake up in local radio that lot will be in trouble.

    During the Hume/Morgan incident Paul Walker was by far the worst on Radio Sheffield FH. Telling Barnsley fans to move on and discuss other topics.

    The bloke is in a no-win position. The squad isn’t good enough - everyone knew that. The chairman’s had enough and spouting off all the time.

    What do people expect? He’s not a quitter, and will believe he can turn them round to an extent. He has to back himself.

    It doesn’t look good on him if he quits. And he’s probably been lied to about recruitment, so he’ll stay and only go if paid out.

    My other half won’t listen if Giddings is commentating because it’s not possible to tell what’s happening. He does this thing where he shouts the name of a player who has a chance. e.g.

    “And it comes square to HERBIE KANE” …..
    Then there’s a pause…. And you don’t know what’s happened, and what feels like an eternity before he says.
    “And Kane's shot floats high and wide into the crowd”
