With respect. Could we please use the correct title of the team. I find it really confusing that The ladies team are referred to as Barnsley FC Women .
The other team in the area Being called Barnsley Women FC.
It is quite obvious tbh when mentioned by the football club which team they refer to.
But in conjunction with the Chronicle, Women is used to refer to both teams. And does lead to confusion when both teams are referred to in the same article.
    Today for example.
One team went forward in the FA cup. And the other lost. Had to read twice to decipher which club they were referring to.

I cant help but think its a deliberate move from the club hooky

    last season it was

    Barnsley Ladies- owned by bfc

    Barnsley women- seperate

Then this summer the club changed to a name that clashes

Is it a move to undermine the competition, so people dont notice there is a different team?
