Sorry, I was just going off Wikipedia. Obviously that's not always 100%. 10 in 10 though, even better. Will he become England's best ever midfielder?
Jordan Henderson might have retired by then so there’s a chance Southgate might be forced to pick him.
Never seen what Henderson or Phillips bring to the team. Especially when Stones and Maguire are encouraged to bring the ball out. Defeats the object or a spoiling midfielder for me. Much prefer Bellingham and Rice as they have all the facets to their game.
His rise has been absolutely remarkable. To take a club like Real Madrid by storm is incredible. He's scored multiple vital goals too, late winners etc. Amazing really. Just needs to keep on the straight and narrow and injury free.
His brother Jobe isn't half bad either, performing really well for Sunderland. Be pretty cool seeing what 2 Bellingham's might be like in 3/4 years time. You'd imagine neither of them are even at their pick yet (fingers crossed)
Said for years that for England to ever win anything more English players need to play abroad. For a long time every half-decent team was made up of players for all of Europe's top leagues and England was exclusively players from about 5 clubs all in the Prem.
Provided he keeps his head screwed on & doesn’t suffer with injuries he could end up our greatest player. It’ll be interesting to see how he gets on in the knockout stages of the champions league
