Who is that AC, I've never heard of him lol. As for the Chairman who is looking at the porridge, I've heard he's also looking at the orange juice as well, because it says concentrate on the carton.

Came past Wakefield Trinty last week ,didn't recognise the stadium looked good. Last time I was out that way ,was Pussy Cats . Great nights out for some of us old uns.
Biggest budget means nowt if you spend it wrong. Collecting players like baseball cards then having to shoehorn them into team due to their big wages just doesn’t work. We have played probably joint best full back in league at scrum half most of season because we also have the other joint best fullback in league at club. Split up our best half back pairing to put square pegs in round holes. Brought back players who we got rid of season before just because they are available and ignored likes of Corey Norman who tore us apart last night. to folk on outside it looks like a massive surprise, but it isnt to a lot of fev fans we have steam rolled crap teams but struggled against anyone half decent with a game plan. Can’t remember us playing same team consecutive games. Absolutely no consistency
Pussy cats, blast from the past. You couldn't get in if you said you were from Barnsley as a team of lads. I was from Ossett lol. DJ "Anyone frum leeds." Then Batley then wakefield. Small pockets of cheers. Then. DJ "Anyone frum Barnsley " Place erupted lol.
Never been a fan of having a play off to decide who wins the league. That should be whoever gets the most points after everyone plays each other twice. Leigh finished top by miles in 2001, and managed an even bigger capitulation in the play offs, not making the final even though the structure at the time meant we had a life. Lost 2 home games and that was it. Had to wait until Halifax came down and went part time to have a realistic chance again. Of those 4 seasons you list, didn't Sheffield win the grand final a couple of times? Along with them being shafted as part of a merger Aetkins was an odd signing, given who you already had. And playing him at 6 is even more bizarre. From what I saw of him last season, he's a full back, end of.
To say Aetkins isn't a half back he's done well and won 3 awards in the player of season awards, couldn't get in at FB we had 2 others who were 'better'. Yeah we beat Sheffield in one final, lost to them in another one, lost in semi to Batley and lost to Halifax in another.
exactly. Been saying all season play Killer or Aitkins but don’t play both. He’s done ok in half’s against crap teams. But last night showed he’s not a scrum half and should never have been there. Our issue with half’s was always going to bite us on arse sometime. Personally I wouldn’t have signed either full back I’d have kept Pickersgill and strengthened elsexwhere. recruitment been crap
Sheffield have indeed won the Grand Final, twice in succession. Played in the first ever Super League match, won the Rugby League Cup as biggest outsiders ever, then treated like s**t by the powers that be ever since.
Sheffield have never won the Grand Final but have won the Championship final 2012 2013. Only Leeds,Bradford,St.Helens and Wigan have won the Grand Final so what does that tell you about Rugby League.
Remember when the end of season top 8 matches were for the RL Premiership Play offs trophy. This was just an extra chance of winning something else at the end of the season, when the league winners had already received their Championship trophy. Like with the Play offs in footy, I think they are great to watch as a neutral, but they are hard going if your own team are involved.
Ok now its time for some hardcore RL action lol, which includes a scrap and a yellow card and 2 red cards!!.
