Goalkeeper Kit

After waiting for months, I got the Junior shorts delivered the other day for my son.

Still await the socks and shirt.

I’ve just got an email now, stating the shirt is not available and I’ve been refunded the amount for it.

I’m fuming.

I’d pre-ordered it all within hours of it being released, so it should be fulfilled. I’ve never requested it to be cancelled, and the shorts are pointless without the rest.

Anyone else get the same email today?

 

You'll notice that the club are still in hiding on the issue. Hypocrites who smile fake smiles at meetings but prove through their silence whenever anything goes wrong that they dont care about fans

 

Whilst the delay is annoying, the cancellation and refund of the shirt, especially when they’ve sent the shorts, is disgraceful.

Everyone will just return the blue shorts now for a refund

 

I personally hope it costs fanatics an absolute fortune

 

Problem is also cost Barnsley fc reputational damage with its fanbase. Made even worse by the absolute silence.

 

Pathetic from the club going with Fanatics, they only had to read their reviews on trustpilot to know how bad they are. 83% of the reviews only give 1 star.

Tbf, I think the kit delay was initially down to the late confirmation of design. Fanatics have been left mopping this up. A recipe for disaster.

 

I hope it costs the club a fortune too frankly. The bfc board of directors deserve it after their behaviour. Khaled has proven himself for what he is yet again but the others aren't innocent either

Yep exactly same....blue shorts came last week and cancelled shirt today. Will be sending the shorts back for a refund now as well.

My son saved his birthday money for it....ordered it the day it was released to buy....waited months for it and for this to happen is just rubbish. looks like hes getting a Man City shirt instead....i cant even say pick one of the other shirts coz they wont have those in!

Same here pal - refund on shorts and then will be an Arsenal shirt for him.

Luckily got the home kit, but pre-ordered the keeper kit as they’re usually all gone by Xmas.

I don’t understand how with a pre-order this can happen. A pre-order gives them the figures they need to deffo manufacture.

Can online purchases go back to club shop? Hope so.

 

Cant return online orders to the club shop....and returns are 4.99 i believe!!!!!

Fanatics ‘run’ the club shop, so there’s no reason why they can’t. I will also lodge a complaint with every man and his dog if they don’t (appreciate it’s not the shop’s staff fault).

 

And I wish they’d stop using terms like ‘we wanted to reach out to you’.

Just say ‘we’re contacting you’.

 

Write to Mr El-Ahmad and see what, if any, banal reply you get.

 

Fully expecting socks to get delivered in coming days to take the piss even more.

 

Good have taken more than 30 days to arrive and as such consumer has a right to a refund without penalty. ie no postage to be paid.

 

Facebook is full of people whose goalkeeper shirts arrived with no sponsor on so they all have to take them to the club shop at the end of the month to get it put on!
