I think we should chalk the goals and result off from this game in a similar fashion to we did for the Port Vale game.
Let's not start putting unnecessary pressure on these lads like we did our previous lot! Especially at his age. Out of interest, how many times have you watched Real Madrid this season? He's definitely nearing the top, especially if only including midfielders, but lets see if he can do it all season for Madrid instead of just 9/10 games. He's such a joy to watch, incredibly talented. Would love to see him & his brother both playing in the same side in the near future!

A transformation, England bossing possession against Italy. Just a shame I couldn’t watch the game with my old dad, he’d have been purring. We are a top footballing team, skill pace, strength. Just a pleasure to watch.
Much better 2nd half and definitely a deserved result. And for all the times they threatened to create something, Italy only had that one shot on target in the first half. It angers me all the more though when I think back to it, that we allowed them to do what they do, in that Euro Final. Anyway we're through and probably as group winners, and we can watch Italy thrash it out with Ukraine now, for 2nd place. Another good match day thread indeed.
