Said he was poor, then when Cosgrove was sent off said we were now playing with nine men as Cotter may as well not be on the pitch.
He wasn't anti Barnsley and said good things, so an honest opinion I think.

should he saying things like that though? feels unprofessional and unnecessary. I wouldn't expect one of our commentators to say that about an oppo player

I thought I had miss heard the comments.
    Can't beleive he said it.
However he was screaming about a ridiculous penalty shout by Cole ,so about sums him up.

for me I don’t see anything wrong with it. Pundits on the tv slag off players so see nothing wrong with a co commentator doing the same. He was right too, Cotter was dreadful yesterday.

He's one of the few players I see trying to beat his man. He needs to get better, but I think he will. Helped set up the equaliser too.
I'd still play J.Williams at RWB (worked last season) and Shepherd or Lopata (when fit) at CB.

TV pundits aren’t representing the team they’re commentating on though. That’s the difference for me. It’s just about showing a bit of class and respect towards your opposition.

They are home commentators not neutral though and if folk were actually accessing ifollow like they should they would be listening to BFC commentators:)

Just not for me mate. I wouldn't expect a manager or player to come out and say a player from the oppo team was rubbish. Don't expect it from their commentators either. Equally I wouldn't want to hear our commentators slating their commentators. Just think it's poor form.

Imho I don't mind...I think he also stated that all the subs had positive effects apart from Cotter.
I've seen our commentators passing judgment on the opposition players, good and bad....all about opinions is our game.

Might just be me, but i think there should be more of it, i find it refreshing that honest opinions are aired and not just gentle phrases. Might be a tad harsh to say someone isnt good enough but if someone is having a bad game its seems fair to say it as you see it.

Id question if an Orient commentator was saying he was lacking in ability as opposed not having a good game as i would doubt how much of any opposition player they see to judge level of ability as opposed current form/isolated matchday performance.

Whether its right or not, I don't mind that in a neutral commentator etc.
But when it's an absolute 'homey', who is going to be biased against us when we're the away team, that's when it pees me off!.

I love Bary to be honest but good grief he was dreadful yesterday.

I can see why Collins doesn’t pick him; he’s always trying to go forward with the ball. Incapable of those superb passes along the back 8 we like to make.
