How sad that after all he did for Everton, in his last months he was ordered to stay away from games for his own safety.

So,so sad to hear this. I've no connection with Everton, but Bill was no doubtedly a massive blue, and huge in the theatre world as well.
I enjoyed listening to his Golden Years program on Radio 2.
    RIP Bill Kenwright

I think any Blues who had a bad word for the bloke should be chocking on their tea tonight.

Premier League football is now bought out by Saudis & Americans, who just see it as an investment / sports washing.

I'm old enough to remember him as Gordon Clegg on Coronation Street. RIP to a born and bred Evertonian

Yes I remember his Coronation St days as well. It’s rare to see a match start without remembering somebody, or something, these days so I hope Goodson Park honours him as well. What will the hypocrites do though? Boo, or just stay away?

I’m off to see Everton on Sunday at the London stadium, hopefully both sets of fans will give him the respect he deserves
