    Can anyone clarify the rule please, my understanding is that you can have 5 subs but only have 3 opportunities to bring them on? If brought on at half time does this not count as one of the 3 opportunities?

    That is exactly it as far as I am aware. Half time doesn’t count as one.

    If the officials are concussed they might give you an extra sub.
