https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news...ted-on-suspicion-of-rape-and-drugs-possession Reading that I had the sound of a lady from Bristol in my head saying "another one".
All we know at the moment is that it isn't one of the female Tory MPs. But it does seem that MPs are involved in far more crimes than the general public.
It's just like the last days of the Major government every week another Tory sleaze story breaks and a zombie government clings to power just making the country worse off. They'll cling on to power for another 12 months just hoping for a miracle not for the good of the country but just for their belief in an entitlement to power and privilege. For god's sake Richy just put your rancid party out of our misery and call a GE NOW.
We also know that it was Surrey police and they arrested ‘a man in his 60s’. Isn’t this the 3rd Tory (alleged) rape case in as many years?
Its at least 3, cant help thinking its in the public interest to name him, though I am sure we will find out soon enough
The other two will tweet things that make it clear it’s not them. They’ll be sharing what a lovely day they had yesterday at the other end of the country.
A propos of nothing, these are the male Tory Surrey MPs: Kwasi Kwarteng Dominic Raab Michael Gove Paul Beresford Crispin Blunt Chris Grayling Jeremy Hunt Jonathan Lord Ben Spencer Blunt, Grayling and Lord are in their 60s
I can’t say I am surprised by this story, I am still trying to understand how Peter Bone hasn’t been charged by the police for the allegations made against him.
Bone and Blunt ( a couple of aptly named characters) could have saved a lot of time and trouble to themselves, others, the law and the electorate by simply bedding down with each other.
I'm still trying to work out how Owen Paterson got away with one of the most obvious breaches of the Bribery Act 2010 you'll ever see...
