Probably right to be honest. He needlessly got himself sent off, then the game for which he was suspended saw us win 3-0 with McAtee playing very well and Watters coming on to tee up the third. Strong message that we don't need him and he has to start performing in training, and not be so hot headed, to get back in the squad.
I saw someone reply to Doug’s tweet saying he watched us on Tuesday night too. He had a good thing with us being captain and “lead” defender for a team that’s likely to have a decent season in league 1. But, as you say, I’m sure the wages will make it all good.
