I hope the rules have changed around a referee doing both legs of a cup game.

Didn’t realise it was him but Bent Owner makes me chuckle, remember when he was pulled from Blackpool game in cup for that reason, ironic that we had Lee & Conman

He seemed to want to be a part of history last night. Giving a dodgy penalty to Horsham, many free kicks in their favour and not many in ours.
He wanted to be the ref who took part in a famous giant killing so he could tell his grandkids "I was there".
I dread to think he will be in charge down at their place, we'll get nothing ... and he will be famous.

We have had some dreadful refs last couple of seasons but i thought he was the worst of the lot. I would even say corrupt. . Definately no penalty. I still cannot understand why he chalked barnsley's 4 th off just before their 3rd after all those shots rained in. He was giving corners when should have been goal kicks and visa versa and for both teams. He was allowing Horsham players to man handle reds but as soon as we made a tackle he blew.

2 from me, watched the replay several times and I still fail to see any contact for their penalty. The 2 horrendous fouls on Jalo unpunished, yet free kicks instantly given for their players dropping to their knees without being touched. Didn’t see their 3rd as I’d gone to the toilet, but those around me claim it was offside, the little I’ve seen is inconclusive. Think it wasn’t just Horsham that wanted to be part of a cup upset
