Nothing would surprise me, especially as the con party could lose current Tory voters/supporters to Reform UK, who are even more right wing than the Tories! The latest polls show that 11% of former Tory voters could switch to Reform UK. Putting Cruella as head of the tories would perhaps attract them back or stop them from leaving. What a world we live in

 

It’s the best motivation for booting them out at the next election. All this nonsense about there being no difference between the Tories and Labour. There’s a big difference and it will get bigger, because if they get back in Braverman will be PM within 2 years. As it is, she will be Leader of the Opposition next year if they lose, and then the Tories will be like the BNP.

 

An increase in homelessness is a failed government. An attack on the homeless is a corrupt government.

The Conservative Party is a corrupt failure.

That is their legacy.

 

I think she's The Tory key to getting out of power, they've made such a blls up that they've nowhere left to turn so get out now and spend 5 years blaming Labour for the state of the country that they've caused. Every time she opens her evil gob people call for them to be voted out....

I'd love her to have to spend a night on the streets, then ask her opinion on whether she still thinks anyone would 'choose' that if they had any other option.

 

Homelessness (and food banks) simply should not exist in our society and the government should make positive steps to ensure as such. Criminalising the things around it is simply wrong and shows how incompetent she and the government are.

A few days ago in Manchester i walked and had a chat with a homeless guy. I speak to people on the streets often. Something im sure she has never done. I bought some crisps, bread, drinks and chocolate for the guy. He was very grateful.

i didn't spend the day thinking or being proud about my good deed for the day, i spent it thinking this should not be happening in a modern society. A ‘Great’ Britain and one which has taken full control of its affairs.

It’s people like her who will destroy our nation and embarrasses us on the world stage.

 

Her vile words might well get het to be the next Tory leader but unfortunately for her, they drive away the dwindling support for her party. Public attitude polling clearly shows that the majority of people don't share her views on immigration and asylum. Many of those people supported the Tories for their mythical competence with the economy and they now see that for what it is. It doesn't leave them much to work with to be honest.

No one in their right mind would choose to live in a tent in the British winter.

 

Barnsley Council have produced an extensive plan 'Homeless Prevention and Rough Sleepers Strategy 2023 - 2028.'

They quote the following figures -
'The annual rough sleeping snapshot measures the number of people sleeping rough on a single night in the autumn. This has been slowly decreasing in Barnsley during the lifetime of the last strategy, as detailed in the table below:
2018--17 2019--2 2020--10 2021--7 2022--5.'

Surprisingly few rough sleepers - figures do not include homeless people who may be 'sofa surfing.'

Many rough sleepers are in a very vulnerable position - used to see one each morning when out and about - used to get him a coffee and sandwich - saw him one morning - he's been beaten up and sexually assaulted the previous night - his coat stolen - talking of suicide - I contacted the police - they didn't want to know.

Anyone who thinks rough sleeping is a 'lifestyle choice' is massively deluded!
