No, it’s a high tempo game and very entertaining as a result of that. The 2 red cards, numerous fouls and challenges has nothing to do with it
Still don’t understand how or why a player can be offside in the build up and then slot home a goal. Sterling well on but the player who scored was off.
In the context of the rest of this crazy game it was a prime candidate for chalking off. Why it stands is a complete mystery to me. Just shows how baffling the offside rule is
It’s such a baffling thing because no matter what the defender is at a disadvantage he drops deep and plays them all on or keeps a high line and the player is still onside despite being offside earlier in the move.
Stop mincing your words, say what you mean… And you’re wrong by the way. That would be given as a foul and a sending off by VAR in any game it was operating in. Your anger with the ref ought to be redirected at your idiot centre half who might have been sent off before he was, and your left back who also might have been, with both not taking advantage of any good fortune they may have had.
Udogie’s challenge was miles worse than Phillips’ in my eyes, two footed and flying. Fortunate he missed him to be fair. I think him getting away with it was just about ok, don’t get me wrong - but I think he was pretty lucky. I expected him to go with how they look at these, he’s fortunate that VAR is going through their ‘back your mate unless you really can’t’ phase.
Officials don't want Spurs winning league. How a pub team from Manchester have become media darlings is beyond me. Bent as f cuk unless you're wearing red or Sky blue. As for Chelsea...oh well.
Feel as cheated tonight as I did that afternoon. Officials are bent and biassed, they do favour bigger, winning most clubs. I feel sick like I did back then too.
Romero deserved to be sent off. He deliberately followed through the tackle to try to injure the other player. Odogie clear red should have been sent off earlier for another attempt to hurt Sterling. Spurs approach from them was incredibly naive. They should have held back and let a poor Chelsea team arrack. Entertaining game but VAR was pretty spot on.
Kin ‘ell mate, you’re properly deluded. In may, every pundit, everyone in football except those closely associated with Sheffield Wednesday were unanimous in castigating the decisions made at Wembley. I’m not sure there’s too many think either spurs player should have remained on the field tonight, or that the penalty wasn’t a foul.
Let's look for off side shall we. No goal.watch it back. How far do you go. If you go back a bit further Bissouma or Maddision getting polaxed in middle. I dont much care for your opinion either so your opinion means f cuk all anyway.
Tottenham were pathetic last night. Udogie and Romero should have both been sent off twice. And their gaffer then has the front to do an interview about respecting officials decisions when he got booked in the first half. The only reason he's respected the decisions is that somehow they were lucky to not have 9 men for as long as they did. He should be giving Udogie and Romero a fine of about 10 weeks wages The worrying thing is, that the behaviour of Tottenham actually made me want Chelsea to win a game of football. Which is a horrible feeling.
You know what? I’ve felt for you in recent months as it’s clear you’ve been struggling, so I like many others on here have probably made allowances for that with a lot of your posting - but you’re just showing yourself to be a bit of a t.wat now. Do and think as you will. I’ll not bother engaging with you anymore.
