I wish him the best of luck for the future and we move on. We've had worse CEO's and much, much better. Let's hope the next one is one of the latter.
Think it suits all partys for him to move on the new makeup of the board will want their own man/woman.
He did some things ok. Getting Duff in was one. Secured some good contracts with certain players. Shocking communications at times. Hex had to be within his purview and was a complete embarrassment. Why he couldn't read the room about the idiots who would instantly disparage the big news thing instead of keeping his counsel is beyond me. No tears shed from me at his departure.
Final statement in the release from Minnesota is "Khaled is married to Fenik Saleh and they have two daughters, Ella and Livia. He will join the club in the coming months". Sooner rather than later I assume.
Great news. By some distance the worst CEO since the role was created. Not in a nasty way, just poor at his role. What’s more disappointing is the cloak and dagger actions in terms of a replacement being worked on for the last few months, Good grief. If the Club actually put this role out to the market rather than sorting it out in secrecy, they might recruit a higher calibre of candidate to chose from.
Someone that poor at communication will not be a loss. Poorest in his position for a long time and yes I include Rowling in that.
Wish him the best, but ultimately for our club it’s a good thing, the guy just wasn’t good enough in his role. Of course he did some good, like bringing Duff in, & one or two positive signings & contract extensions, but ultimately for me the negatives outweigh the positives, & he’s not a good people person. Hopefully the club can find a better replacement & hopefully this doesn’t mean January goes tits up!
You have got to be kidding. Rowing couldn't tell the difference between an FA Cup 5th round match on a Saturday and a first round league Cup tie away at Boro on a Tuesday night. How was he to know there'd be high demand for Anfield when there wasn't for Middlesbrough? Hence his decision to allow 4 tickets per ST holder. Just one example of many.
I wish him well in his future endeavors. He didn't alienate me, as he seems to have with many on here, but maybe I just don't let this stuff bother me.
hopefullly we can start selling our club to new players with our ambition rather than youll get your big move as long as you shine.and dont let the agents take control when it comes to release clauses mlh 500 thow should av been abit more than that, for the record i dont hold grudges,,lol good luck to bloke, hope we get sumdi ruthless.can i just av a quiet word with ny agent pls, no, as av said, were ambitious i want all the knew signings in by today,we think your good enough you prove your good enough next yr your a championship player, you'll then be on 1500 quid a week lad 500 pounds than this year. there will be some massivess after you and all they will have to pay is your 15mill release claws... it wa funny in my head had a special brew.
Gauthier? Too much of a link to Chien & Conway for me, so no thanks. Who knows, Dane may be held in good regard with our current board seeing as he supposedly tipped them the wink re Conway's position. Does he currently have a club or is he a free lance specialist or something?
