Yorkshire Post apparently says that Jack Shepherd has not had a chance in the first team after his two performances in clean sheets, because of our "consistency at the back". If one looks at our away record, he has a point. If one looks at our home record, such a statement is surely verging on the ridiculous.
Feel sorry for the lad. Did absolutely nothing wrong to be dropped. Still think he’d be a better option than McCart. Guess the selection is based on experience.
Shepherd imo should not have been dropped, played well and after all he is our own player, I can only think the manager goes for experience but how's Shepherd going to get it if he isn't given a chance
