I haven't seen a single second of the game, but I'm told the penalty was contentious. Which came as a complete shock as you'd imagine.

Will update the league table some time next week.

Won’t be voting as I’ve only seen the very brief highlights. Barnsley player had hand in middle of Derby player’s back so gave the ref a decision to make. It looked a correct call to me. My mate was there and he said even though we were at the other end, it looked clear cut to him.

The penalty decision looked nonsensical from the angle we saw it on TV, but others have said it was correct. Absolutely hare-brained of O'Keeffe to touch the Derby player. Thought he was quite soft on a physical Derby side as well. Should have got his cards out much earlier. On the other hand, probably got most other decisions correct. Seen much worse. 5.

Poor for me - started off OK but when ever he gave us a decision ( correct ones mind) he got a lot of stick from the crowd so after a while he gave up and became a homer. even failing to book one of their players who flew into McCart(?) at least a second after the ball had gone, when he had earlier booked one of their players for a (less) bad challenge and got a lot of abuse from the crowd for it. The penalty was a joke even the Derby Commentator's thought it was very soft and Collins had "won" it

That was a game changing and incorrect decision as we all know once we go behind its game over.
Other things that annoyed me Derby player goes down injured whilst we have the ball in a good position, ref stops play - fair enough as it could have been a head injury, but then restarts with a drop ball to Derby.
Williams flattens Kilip ref blows for a foul which was an interesting decision - he probably should have stopped play anyway and restarted with a drop ball - Derby did put the ball in the net after the whistle but we had stopped playing by then so not sure they would have got a shot away so not counting it as an incorrectly disallowed goal

Obviously the re not to blame for the way we folded second half but I really wasnt impressed with him - Watched the whole game of ifollow so not quite the same as being there but only gets a 2 from me

Ah, so it was O'Keeffe again? That's 3 penalties I believe he's given away this season now.

As I say, I've not seen any of the game, however if the ref stopped the game for a head injury in the Derby penalty area, they're given the ball when the game restarts. Could that have been the case here?

There was a similar incident in the Fleetwood game. One of their players went down holding his head, we had the ball just inside the penalty area. The game was stopped and the drop ball was given to Fleetwood.

It's a bizarre rule. I'm not sure how new it is, though the first time I remember it being implemented was on boxing day at Accrington.

It's one of those which a defender could manipulate to help end an attack.

4 not the worst we'll see but let a couple of nasty tackles go unpunished and seemed intimidated by the home crowd. Penalty decision was a mystery to us watching on I follow

Great post and totally as how I saw it.
Think you were kind actually with 2. Was that for him wearing the correct gear. :).
If that's a penalty. Every game should get one.
Not the worst ref but I'm sick of S4it refs so am going to give a 1. Very rarely drop below 4. I may revise some of my previous mark's.

5/10. Soft penalty but there was a light shove so can’t really moan too much.

He was influenced by their players and boos from the stands though I felt. Though no major moans, we lost because we were crap. He didn’t affect the game massively.

One thing he did get right was not sending Russell off towards the end. Already booked and gave him verbals after a decision went against him. Called Williams over and told him to get Russell to calm down. Could (should?) have been a second yellow.

The incident about 15 minutes in when one of the Derby players (Cashin?) just charged at McCart, made no attempt to get the ball, and basically targeted McCart was, I have no doubt, well within the definition of "violent conduct". It happened right in front of The Reds fans and you can see the guy running forward, not looking at the ball and targeting McCart. Check it out on the Extended Highlights if you want. Fleetwood had a man sent off at Oakwell a couple of seasons back for a similar offence: no card at all for the Derby man. This, to me, was by far the worst decision the Ref made. As regards the penalty, because it was to the left hand side of the goal and The Reds fans were, albeit at the opposite end, in the right hand corner it was clear to see that O'Keefe pushed two hand into Collins' back. The Ref made a quick decision but I'd already turned and said to my neighbour "Oh no" because it looked such an obvious penalty; the in the highlights you can't what O'Keefe is doing because the camera is behind him.

Penalty was a joke, McCarthorse got clattered ref never had a word with their number 6. Incompetent buffoon. Given him zero but that's because no minus option available

Just as an aside..... If the ref has any little kids they may actually be really good footy players. Busby babes.
    Apologies. Couldn't resist.

Wish we got refs swayed by the home crowd. They usually do all they can to piss us off.

From where we were sitting i thought it was a penalty too, i saw it exactly how Le Gessien describes.

However, he missed two of the most obvious red cards you'll see for disgraceful challenges on McCart and De Gevigney, both in the first 20 minutes, either of which would have meant we would likely have gone on to win the game.

By the way, you've got the referee's name wrong in the title. It was a Mr C Hourihane of Ireland.
